As well as being a dancer, Patricia Lozano received degrees both in cante and guitar from the Professional Music Conservatory in Seville, after which she attended the school of the Fundación Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco in order to further study dance and guitar under such prestigious dance professionals as Milagros Mengíbar, Javier Barón, Ursula López, and Carmen Ledesma, and guitar teachers José Luis Postigo, Eduardo Rebollar, and Miguel Angel Cortės. Patricia thus masters the three specialities of Flamenco art. Thanks to the knowledge and experience which she acquired, Patricia developed, together with Rosi Navarro, a subject named Flamenco Communication which the tandem offers as an extra-curricular activity at the school of the Fundación. At the present moment Patricia is a member of the teaching staff of the regular academic programme, instructing the students in subjects such as compás ( metrics) and Basic Codes of traditional Flamenco or tablao.
